Founded in 1990 by Professor Maria Leonor Machado de Sousa, the Revista de Estudos Anglo-Portugueses/Journal of Anglo-Portuguese Studies has been directed, since 2014, by Professor Gabriela Gândara Terenas and internationally peer reviewed by Professors Paulo de Medeiros ( University of Warwick), Rui Miranda (Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom) and Paul de Melo e Castro (Reader at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom). Peer reviewers assess the acceptability of proposed articles using the following criteria: compliance with publication standards; theme covered within the scope of the Magazine; relevance, originality and theoretical framework of the article; adequacy of the critical methodology; clarity of presentation; argumentation and relationship between starting hypotheses and results.
